Anyone know if/when we will get new dates for postponed games and what the minimum time they need to give us in advance? Could we play one this month? Can’t find any info on the net

Results should improve yes, he’s said so himself. If they don’t, then criticism is deserved. A lot of this just seems like pre-criticism and negativity for no reason

Of course it is cos the man is going to use all this to defend himself. He'll go all guns blazing at everyone and everything apart from himself.

And a few will agree with him.

I don’t know why but this morning I’ve been hit with a wave of optimism.

I have a feeling in my considerable gut that Rafael’s Everton are about to go on a good run if form and results.

Have I gone mad?
You may very well have gone mad, I guess depends if your definition of "good form" is not conceding first for once and "good results" means perhaps more than 1 win before the next summer solstice. ?

Arteta won a cup so got more time. Also had a way of playing that clicked quicker (4 games in).

Moyes wasn't a glamour name for West Ham. He kept them up, wasn't extended, then brought back in as he was seen as a safer bet.

Additionally they both had solid midtable sides. That hasn't gone away, they've got a little bit better.

We have a solid midtable side. Benitez is making it look like a relegation side.

Additionally, for all the issues, there's nothing to hang on to for hope that even if we do improve (it will be marginally, and in comparison to previous years backwards)...what's the plan going forward?

But you have to judge at 38 games thats my point.

Plenty of teams have had good 1st half a season then collapsed or vice versa Moyes had a few seasons like that here in his early days.

He did get “advised” to use the multi-quote function a few days ago, instead of “monopolising” threads! Wonder if he’s been found guilty of playing monopoly?
One thing is for sure, without their team captain, the Benitez appreciation society are all going to have to work that bit harder.

I miss Dave when he’s banned, he is a complete contrarian, but, he has this ability to talk absolute cobblers and seem like he believes it, what’s more he gets the rest of us to think he believes his ravings and has us debating them with him.

A strange Orange Cat, but, I’ll miss him until he’s back.

After watching his press conference, it's very clear to me that Digne was sold for 'economical' reasons.

I'm not sure why he couldn't have been professional about this whole situation from the off instead throwing the player under the bus publicly - suggesting he wanted to leave.

I think you realise just how absurd that idea is when you see the club that Digne has been resigned to.

Rafael wanted spending money.

Simple as that.

Also, he puts our poor season down to not having the key goal scorers available in Richy & Dom...

Meanwhile, mentions nothing about the fact we're conceding 2-3 goals per game in abysmal fashion at the back.

Painful watching.

….very encouraging when you see virtually the whole squad in the training video. With everybody fit and available I don’t think you have gone mad.

I didn't see the presser. Did any of the crooks-masquerading-as-journalists ask him about the poor defensive record, or was it the usual softball stuff?

To be fair, they were pushing him with some tough questions.

He claims it doesn't matter whether we play 3, 4 or 5 at the back. The tactics aren't the problem.

He's claiming it's individual errors.

Very worrying that he believes that as its clear for everybody to see we're being dominated in midfield with every side plating with a three and our zonal marking is problematic.

Its clearly a tactical / system issue thats our biggest problem.
