Get him gone. Enough is enough. Yes, we have a poor squad, but we shouldn’t be losing as regularly as we do to relegation fodder, and in the manner that we lose. No, I don’t have the answer to the ‘who replaces him’ question, that’s not my job, but I don’t have to be a billionaire accountant to see that this is just horrible, and that it was always going to be. God help us.

Well what I will say, it would be a shame Digne was sold due to Benitez then less than a week Benitez is sacked. It does make me wonder if the sale was decided higher up in the club.
Nah. Look all the way through el gordo's career, he wouldn't have that without whining to the press.
If it was higher up it would be financial, but they spent money straight away.

…..an opportunity today for freshness & ambition, a selection to get the fans up for the game.

Patterson, fit & ready, very decent in possession and progressive yet he’s not seen game time whilst an undercooked LB does. Rondon a waste of a starting place whilst we could’ve been more solid. Two down in 20mins.

Stubborn.

Made all the worse by pushing Godfrey to RB instead of Patterson on for Coleman

It's scary that we have brought in 2 players recently and neither got onto the pitch today.

What was the point in loaning el ghazi if not for games like today? For something different rather than playing the same two wingers for 99 minutes?

It's scary as well that we don't ever seem to change things when we need them to. Losing in the second half but never any drastic change made or a fresh face thrown in to offer something different.
