I said months ago if we took a young intelligent manager on after Carlo they would look at the squad that pushed for Champions league most of the season & fell away at the end.
He would have kept the obvious quality players ,ditched the crap & brought in 3 good quality players , improving the squad not alienating the best players.
There wasnt a lot of fixing that needed to be done just adding quality where it was needed ....its called progression.

Thats why Benitez with his Draconian bully boy outdated tactics was the very worst choice the club could make.
