Well I've not been one of the 'Rafael Out' Brigade but today really is the final straw.
I've said before on here that we can't play for 45 minutes every week and expect to get results.
2-0 down to the bottom team after 20 minutes left us with a mountain to climb.
We've now reached the 'anyone but him' stage, a la Silva and Koeman.
Time to go Rafael lad and thanks for nothing.

Villa Fan in peace...

Just wondering, if/when Rafael gets fired. Would u guys like Rooney? He is doing an amazing job at Derby under conditions a million times worse than those at Everton.
Will be a split response to that question.

Personally my hang up is asking someone who played with half the squad not too long ago may not be the best idea.

Rooney looks decent so far but this job is not the right one for him as of this moment, it's a hiding to nothing until things are fixed from top to bottom.

That being said , if he came here and won his first few games, I'm sure there would be plenty of backing from the fans. Especially if there was a the missing passion from the players.

But it will be Jose we hire now, because one thing about this club these days is that they do not learn their lesson.

Not saying the players aren't weak and haven't thrown managers under the bus but it's partly about confidence though if you hated your boss and he wasn't listening to you and the tactical set up wasn't working or getting the best out of you, plus you kept losing you would look bad. It's chicken and egg. Always the way in football.

No. He's doing alright at derby. Shouldn't be getting a big job with a club that needs stabilising.
My gut feeling is that he shouldn't get the job, he just doesn't come across as a manager. But what he is doing at Derby is bloody good. If I was to pick a manager that would suit Everton it would be Potter. Plays the right style of football and if he was supported in the transfer market he could be a very longterm manager

Was said earlier, Martinez was underachieving, Koeman was awful with recruitement, Silva was massively over his head, Fat Sam was a temporary thing, Carlo left to Real. Easy to pass off blame on "the players" when theres been a massive amount of turnover since Martinez.
Yup, think we would've been fine if Carlo stayed
