The reality is that the manager is judged on results so on that basis a sacking could not be argued with but the question will remain about the players whose performances were responsible for those results. Of course they don't get sacked just remain to carry on playing the same crap under the next manager.

Utter balls. He and the team got backed by the majority of fans. Even when it was going downhill, they backed the team (see the Arsenal and Chelsea games) and the decisions.

He was given the benefit of doubt. The problems stem from him and his decisions..no one elses.

Probably not, is the answer to the second one, seeing as he signed a new deal about a year ago. I wonder what he's thinking now, and I wonder why he didn't just sit tight for a bit if he really wanted to be here and nowhere else...

If you were Digne, seeing where Villa is at, and where Everton is....what would you have done? The choice was not so hard I think.
