I think 99% of people know we likely wont finish the season 5th but people should at least be enjoying the wins whilst they come now.

I mean people were singing spirit of the blues this time last season so I dont get why it's sudden doom and gloom this time around.

If people can't enjoy football winning they may as well go watch another sport.

…I’m just saying he’s a micro-manager. He’ll look to control the lowest level of detail. He’d love a Gerrard who adheres to the team model, is ultra competitive, conscientious & has the quality to win games.

We look so similar to last season now. The dropoff will return.

I think this is the key to why a fair few are holding back their judgment. The dropoff may not happen this year. We live in hope. Think we can all enjoy the winning for now.

There is a big difference, in my opinion, between the energy that RB has brought to the team and the pipe and slippers approach of Ancelotti after Christmas.

Mind you I smoke the pipe (since 1984) and I do wear slippers - then again I am not managing Everton, and I will be retiring in under three weeks!!

Rafael did well with Newcastle against the top 6 with Newcastle. But the major problem I see is that Everton doesn't have a CB with leadership qualities. Defense is a major problem. Upfront Everton is capable of scoring. Hence the reason why their possession stats are so low .
