The worry always was would the fans turn on him. He is a coach and tactician so he is going to work things much better than the majority of our recent lot.

He's not in the clear yet though. Even if we get say 6 points from our next two, if we lose the two after it could become hostile quick. We need to be doing well up to the derby and get a result in that and fingers crossed then the season should play out without that issue.

If we lose a few and are sitting outside of Europe and then get hammered by them then it could derail us. Hopefully not.

Carlo got a far easier ride - no home crowd with most defeats in the prem - clueless in team selections after the new year- stood on the touchline chewing gum no motivation from the touch line ......
Glad he's gone tbh & any new manager was left with the problems he never solved after the January transfer window .....
What ever new Manager we got it was always going to be a harder job than the one he fled too......in a hurry probally accepting it around the time Zadane walked .....for his future .......he made sure we never smelt Europe in any capacity........ruining his get out clause in his contract........

The idea that the Leeds game was close is absurd. We had TWICE as many attempts on target as them.

Leeds away is always a tough game because their fans are so vociferous and always get behind their team.

Its great to be able to say that. Fantastic point not only did we get a draw at Elland Road. Which was a good result. We should have won and on the basis of the game we lost 2 points.
