Strangely enough, I agree with your 2nd sentence but as I said above its longer than that. I sympathize with the fact that you and many others have never seen us win a real trophy. IMO the fault is with the awful decisions made by the board over those years rather than who is appointed or sacked in a proccession of managers.
Also the absolute state of football today, dictated by TV, billionaire owners, cant be arsed with it all.

Glaringly obvious issues that Rafael needs to sort out. The defence is a mess & his tactics are right up there in the blame category. He needs to stop Pickfords kicking up the pitch. It barely works & most of the time he just whacks it out of play. His decision to bring off Gordon was stupid. Literally everyone was annoyed by that. Yes Richy scored but he should have been on for Rondon.
Why on earth did Rafael bring Rondon to Everton??? He's had enough minutes to be up to speed now & I'm not seeing anything worthy of a place on the bench let alone starting.
People need to stop sucking on the Rafael sausage because he has caused some of our issues & today was a showcase of how to put in a system that underperforming players can't play in. As bad as most of the players were today & they were very bad, Rafas tactics & decisions were equally as bad.
Going forward we are not too bad & i can see Dom & Richy getting goals once everyone is back & fit but that defence is shocking. Players are of course at fault but the system is plainly at fault too.

Davies just cant control a midfield and that was the only option the manager had today.

I imagine Gomes would have been on 2nd half if he was fit.

Forget Gbamin he'll be off on loan to Turkey in January he's done at this level physically.

I maintain Doucoure in the middle today and we win - similiar to last season when he was injured.

This is a freak result. It is best we move on and forget about it. Having said that, sticking with rondon week in week out is the stupidest decision by Benitez, a decision that will cost him his marginal support and maybe his job.

Evertonians will never be happy its as simple as that.

We are the most frustrated fanbase in the country and nothing but top 6 or a trophy is good enough and the problem is its the 11 on the pitch that get you a trophy or top 6 finish not the bloke sat in the dugout.
