No. Just just start with noticing how little Rondon offers. And then after noticing how bad he is, stop playing him! I couldn’t believe he wasn’t substituted today. Both Gordon and Gray being substituted today instead of him, was baffling to me. We played badly, defended badly and got punished. But Rafael has made a bad call with Rondon, and doesn’t seem able to change his mind on him. We’d be more effective with an extra midfielder, and our spare options there aren’t great!

How on earth is that Benitez's fault? What did you want him to do with that bench?

We couldn't even name a full 9 and had 2 keepers on there yet cryarses in the fanbase are acting like he took off Vincent Kompany for Niasse.

This isn't the same as Carlo playing Davies at RWB or no wide players against Newcastle - this is simply an injury hit squad with the same garbage players like Keane, Davies and sadly Digne/Godfrey letting us down which they have done all season.

Drop the agenda and open your eyes to the truth - 2-1 and losing 5-2 is 100% down to those players no one else.

Keane got ragged around by Josh King all day a disgrace.

You really shouldn’t try to justify that today, it was horrible. Zonal defence with defenders who don’t take responsibility, when will our master tactician twig to the fact that with our defence you have to keep it simple, just tell them who they are to mark at set pieces. Selecting Rondon was questionable to say the least, but, keeping him on for 90 minutes and withdrawing Gordon and Gray was stupid stubborn and a massive mistake.

The obvious substitution was Rondon off Richarlison on, but no, the master tactician had to subject us to another half an hour watching Rondon embarrass both himself and the club.

Yes we have a poor squad, but it is far better than Watford’s, the players, with the exception of Gordon, Gray and Richarlison should hang their heads in shame and so should the manager.

Once Richarlison showed Rondon in minutes what he should have been doing for over 2 months Benitez should have took the galloot off and put extra legs in midfield as they where walking right through us.
But again he left him on ....never learns.

I hope you're right, but I feel like the club will think they've done the hard part by getting him in.

I reckon he'd have to be looking at taking us down before his position came under threat.
