It has only been 2 league games thus far but I can say that most fans are pleasantly surprised by the new found grit, fast attacking and midfield marauders that was totally missing from last seasons performances late on. Most had been lulled in by the bilge that was built up by the Benitez haters that insisted that we will be playing negative defensive football. 2 games in and I am pleased with the change of attitude and the emphasis of quick attacks and more crossing. Long may it continue ;)

There's no reason why we can't be competing with Leicester and WHU for that 6th place, Arsenal are still flailing around as well, Moyes will keep WHU competitive and solid no doubt and Rodgers Leicester are inconsistent.

If we can find more consistency we are back in the mix, I reckon Villa will be there about as well but outside top 4 I think it's it's fairly open most teams are of very similar levels at first team level. Injuries and suspensions are the test of the squads which is where we are a bit short.
