Thats more down to Evertonians and Blue Geordies coming to blows which is what happens regardless of the manager.
I still dont see us being sat in 8th with no DCL, Richarlison, Mina and Doucoure out as being worthy of the fume over the weekend - disgraceful result but one we've seen under numerous managers with the same squad of garbage.
I keep saying it but replace Benitez with whoever Thomas Frank - we go 1 win in 6 when injuries kick in and Davies, Gomes, Iwobi et al start playing games from the off and the in/oot factions always form.
We all know that dross he is working with, the lack of a squad he's been given by brands, the stupid injuries we have.
I don't even think people are throwing brickbats at Benitez because Michael Keane is a coward, Coleman is finished, digne can't defend very well, iwobi is a fraud etc, but every Evertonian should be fuming at what we witnessed on Saturday, and Benitez is a big part of that, no matter how much you try and tell yourself none of it was his fault?
The bricknats come from his tactics, especially set pieces and his subs, which were farcical and substandard. Then to continue to persist with Rondon for another 90 mins is just folly from him - surely you must agree?
I don't think he was the best choice for us, I think he's been finished as a top manager for a number of years, but I always said I would give the man a chance and I still will, as log as he moves his ego aside and addresses what he can address (coaching/set piece defending/substitutes/bloody rondon) - currently he isn't even controling the controlables, and thats where much of the frustration is coming from - you must recognise this?
Your blind loyalty to Benitez just comes across a bit strange tbh.
