We are witnessing the start of their historic decline, sit back and enjoy it's been long overdue.
Out of CL this season and I foresee them failing to qualify for next season as well. This will mean they will suffer irreversible financial meltdown. Very soon they will have a transfer budget just like ours.
With Gerrard having 2 or 3yrs of prime left, I don't see them making any impact 3yrs from now. End of an era I'll say.

Can't see it happening to be honest.
He's too expensive, too old and little commercial value. Unless they are selling him for less than 25m.

Wouldn't that be like stuff made in heaven. Selling Gerrard for a cut price, so they could pay off the FSW?

Let's not get too carried away...

It's nice to see them struggle, especially for the supporters who live and work in Merseyside. Provides them ammunition for the debates, etc.

But...before we pronounce the Reds finished, and relegation candidates in 2012, etc...I think they are the more likelier team than Everton to find the rich Saudi prince to buy them ala Man City.

It's nice to laugh at lfc's expense, but it's more constructive to improve our team, stadium, etc.

IMO anyway.
