I'm inclined to agree with you on that one, he's pretty much turned all of their backroom staff into his own people. It would be very difficult of them to get rid of him.

Personally i think the guy is a grade A bell end of a person. I'd love to see them get rid of him, they'd be in disarray for years! What ever manager came in would have to deal with them not having the funds from the champions league, which lets face it has bankrolled them for quite a few seasons. They'd also have to deal with an exodus of players and backroom staff.

Get shot of him and lets watch them implode

We are witnessing the start of their historic decline, sit back and enjoy it's been long overdue.
Out of CL this season and I foresee them failing to qualify for next season as well. This will mean they will suffer irreversible financial meltdown. Very soon they will have a transfer budget just like ours.
With Gerrard having 2 or 3yrs of prime left, I don't see them making any impact 3yrs from now. End of an era I'll say.

I really really want this. Long overdue decline of the luckiest team in Europe. 8th for them this season would be a dream come true. No Europe, no cash. Please make it happen!

Indeed I agree, although I'm Irish so somebody from Liverpool might have a greater sense of the rivalry. I'd rather see us finish below them but in the Europa places, than above them but further down the league.

For sure, anyone from Liverpool will have a greater sense of the local rivalry than out of city or foreign blues. Still think it would be a sad state of affairs though, if any Evertonian chooses the demise of the RS, over Everton doing well. Should always be your club first, whatever the circumstances or however big the rivalry with the other club might be.
