Hello there. Thanks for the infos about our new player. Could you please tell us five reasons why river plate fans loved Melli so much?
1 River fans always give an advantage to a player from the academy
2 he's a center back but plays it out on the ground the River Plate way
3Probably most important while he was reserve to Alvarez Balanta regular left full back Vangioni got injured before a Superclasico and Ramiro came in and scored the winner
4He is tough a winner with no fear and lots of ambition.Imagine your star defender Stones having to come to Argentina and play our way ¿would he have the ambition /ability /intelligence?
5 Attitude our team right now is very good always giving 100% but playing loyally to our traditions and Funes Mori was typical of this always getting Gallardos support.
I can't guarantee you he will be a success in Everton there are so many things to take into account but he has advantages speaks English but his tecnico speaks Spanish he will probably get time to settle in as it appears from what you guys say Everton has good centre backs He is ambitious and if there is a good relationship with fans he will want more than sixth places as any kid who plays for River expects to win
Good luck to El Mellizo and Everton

Thanks very much.

It sounds like funes mori has lots of heart.. that is a huge plus point. All we ask as Evertonians is to play with your heart and give us 100%

Vickery is a little bit of a snide. Didn't he say james Rodriguez would struggle?

The guy is a journo at the end of the day. Not a manager, coach or a scout. Just a snidey journo.

I think what he actually said was he would struggle to be a regular starter

It's all about an opinion. One person sees something in a player another sees different things.

Ŵhat makes a player settle and play well isn't just about their ability there is a whole load of things many not football related that can tip things
Sometimes players that really shouldn't make it suprise everyone such as Colemanothers who have everything going for them well flop look at De Maria as the classic failure
I along with everyone else have no idea if this will turn out to be a good piece of business the PL is a strange beast in terms of the speed it is played and the intensity but above all the hard thing is the ultimate strength of teams from1-20 where on a good day or bad day ,depending on your allegiance , a team fighting re.egation can put together a world class performance meaning concentration and desire is key[/QUOTE]

The fact we found Coleman for £60k is VERY RELEVANT.

You're making my case for me. Thanks.

I like the sound of it that he has a reputation of being fearless cause without it he wouldnt hack it here.

That part about Stones and intelligence made me giggle a bit, though...he he. ..proud punch you argies xx

Why am I thinking Glen Keeley?
It's stress. If things are a bit tough i start seeing him everywhere. Running for the bus and falling on his backside.
mori sounds well worth the gamble to me. Vickery is a decent enough journo but seems to enjoy his moment in the sun when asked about any player so it's very black and white. And he isn't taking into account what we already have and what we need.

If Daley Blind has the pace and physicality to play at centre back in the Premier League, then it won't be these attributes that let Funes Mori down if he doesn't live up to it.
