He is third choice and rightly so.

Hopefully he'll be ready when Jagielka or Stones loses form, or when Stones is sold next summer.

Looks promising though, so I am happy we have him!

Sorry mate I don't understand this, could you explain it to me? lol

He has looked ok, but should be nowhere near threatening Jags and Stones for a start.

Just hope Bobby doesn't start trying to shoehorn him in to the side just because he paid £9m for him.

His performance against Liverpool was a lot better than 'OK'.

He was probably our best player IMO just ahead of Rom, Jags and Barry, which is unbelievable really considering his age, he's playing in a new continent never mind a league at a standard above and beyond anything he's played in before.

I wouldn't expect him to start as there's no problems with the other 2 so he's better watching and learning just now however I have no worries if he does get picked.

Just imagining the hypocritical fume that'll emerge when he does his first crap back pass and the opposition score and he becomes a waste of money.

It'a sort of happened already, when he gave it away out on the left wing up by the half way line against West Brom.

It was seemingly ignored that we actually won the ball back after that but Barry gave it away again.

I'd much rather players like RFM, Stones, Barkley, Coleman, Delefeou etc are allowed to express themselves and make there own decisions about when it's right to put there foot through it then to have there natural game coached out of them as it would be under someone like Moyes or Hodgson.

I'm safe in the knowledge that it certainly won't be under Bobby, he actively encourages them imo.
