We can hope it won't but we all know it will. He'll be a £9m flop to some on GOT that's for sure and they'll be patiently waiting to write "told you he was naff". Everton that.
 
I think you have mis-understood my comment.

I like what I see from Funes Mori and his performances have been really good. However he is up against the England captain and the future England captain who have formed a superb partnership this season. What I mean is we have all saw too many times when managers picks have been given a starting berth at the expense of the overall dynamic of the team.

Funes Mori is one for when Stones leaves/Jags legs pack in. When that happens he'll have had good experience of the league and will have improved even further.

There's no way he cost £9 million either.

One minute it was £5 million, then they said he's due a clause of £4 million and we want you to pay so little ol' Everton just go yes, no problem.

Nah, that's against everything we've been doing for years, there's no way we just coughed up an extra £4 million like that and even the Echo questioned it direct to the club.

I don't know if it comes out in the accounts but one day I am sure it will be shown we never said that, up front at least anyway. It might rise to it but they haven't had it yet.

The work permit laws have changed and it's a good job they have as RFM wouldn't have got one but one of the changes mean in exceptional circumstances such as a large fee they will issue a work permit, I am sure that's what happened in this instance. Either that or we got told the big fee as there was planes flying around every where.

A bit of both I would imagine.

and there was me thinking it was because we had to buy him out of some third party ownership problem like was mentioned at the time.
£4M to pay off a 50% owner to give his Club full rights and make it possible/legal for us to buy him, and the £5M to the Club for the actual transfer
 
I'll be honest, I thought he'd been shaky so far, but was growing into the games, which was pleasing.
However if everyone else is seeing something different to me, clearly I'm missing something! Good on him, keep it up Lad!
