A question - and this is levelled more at the world-weary travellers among you - but how long would it take for someone, even a fit young footballer like Rami, to fully recover from a mid-week stint in South America to be up to speed to play in a high octane match like this coming Saturday afternoon (not that I expect he will given Stonsey's imminent return). But it occurred to me that he wouldn't leave there until some time hourly morning of Thursday and even with a direct flight wouldn't land (presumably in Manchester) until late yesterday evening allowing for the time differences. Taking into account jet lag I couldn't see him getting his head around the game until some time Sunday afternoon by which time it would be too late anyway! The same for Oviedo Baby, I guess. Thankfully it is unlikely to be an issue but just something I was mulling over.

.....I always refer to Tim Cahill. Much was made about Suarez when he was at the Pool and travelling to play in S America but Cahill always represented his country in the Southern Hemisphere and turned in displays on his return. Travelling has to be a factor even for those who fly first class but I also think lots has to do with the individuals attitude.

Have I mentioned how much I love our boss new defender lid. He's alri you know... Tim Vickery is probably crying inside a mucky favela.

Hope he's decided to teach our midfielders a thing or two.
Pablito certainly had the pause and imagination just look at you tube goles de Pablo aimar en River Plate the picture quality is dire but the football magical
