Played well tonight. I'm going to take great pleasure from his first headed goal for us and, to give you fair warning, I intend to compare him to Derek Mountfield at that point.

Anyway, back to tonight. Not only is he good in the air he's also looking to play the ball quickly when he can, and god knows, we need that to happen.

He'll make the odd mistake, and I'm not convinced taking pot shots from 30 yards is really his forte, but he'll do for me.

I was thinking I miss Watson nodding in headers when he went close a couple times tonight

wait? whut? you mean guys that follow a team passionately, with futbol knowledge, can do a better job rating one of their own than someone hanging out drinking caipirinhas in Brazil, following another league entirely?
 
Love how some people call him gash and a waste of money when he tries too much or leaves his marked target etc. whilst praising Stones to high heaven and completely ignoring the fact he did this A LOT. Ironic.
