Might be. I think he has to develop some more, prove he could play in a top league like BPL. We have a good pair now with Garay-Otamendi, Musacchio recovering... but he has the skills: great header in both boxes, quite fine left-footed, big personality, fast, good one-to-one, physical, tactically clever and a winner. He has to improve his focus all match to avoid some mistakes and what I said before: show all his strengths in the highest level. It's not always easy.
 


Wrote on a YouTube vid of him a week ago asking how good he is and just got this reply:

"You don´t know, in an ANIMAL, IMPORTANT GOALS, PERSONALITY , SO GOOD IN ONE BY ONE, VERY GOOD WITH HIS HEAD IN BOTH AREAS, is really complete player, very fast too... , you are buying one of the best defenders in South América... Congratulations for Everton!"

Sounds promising I guess? lol
