I dont know why. I seem to remember Galloway having a storming game against the Dutchman's Southampton last season down there. No one could have failed to have been impressed with his game that day. He never gave Galloway a chance, and my guess is that he played politics: he knew that Baines was insecure under Martinez for his position with Galloway and Oviedo taking 'his' spot on a regular basis. Well, Koeman moved to avoid that repeat performance and has left us without cover.

I suggest he makes good his error this summer (if Barcelona or Madrid haven't snapped him up for finishing 7th in the PL) and get a decent LB in and kick Baines to the kerb. This is a business, it's not a charity. Baines isn't up to it. Get rid and get someone in who is up to it.

I think most people would agree with you than Koeman.

I've been alarmed at how he's prepared to roll the dice on positions where we are struggling to get by in with just one injury: both FB positions and a striker of quality to deputise for Lukaku.

Tbh, I dont follow the player every game. I've seen him play enough times though to know he has the quality we need.

...he is decent, Dave but I vaguely recall a bit of criticism of him earlier this season.

typical, RS get one of their most valuable player's injured, so we get 4 injured within a week.

We are flying him back with private plane and it costs about 150k..he wants to see the match x they have no tellys in Argentina you know

Looks like fifa will be shelling out around 5million in wages if he has done his ACL. 2.5m for seamus and 2.5m for rfm. jsut a rough estimate based on 50k a week that seamus is on.
