So he went into the secondary criteria discussion?

Doesn't Funes Mori have a caps at senior level - not enough to trigger the automatic qualification but surely worth more than youth level?

This club of ours, FFS it's a midden. Why would you drag someone halfway across the globe without the full knowledge that it was a deal that could go through no problem? Expecting it and knowing it are two different propositions.

A standing joke in the game this lot. Cant get investment or a stadium built; a chairman who lives in a fantasy world populated by z-list actors; directors with ill-fitting wigs who live in Florida and flogs butties to nobheads; a CEO who gives away parts of the club for a handful of magic beans.

What other major club has had to put up with flotsam and jetsam like these for 16 years?

i'd agree with you mate, but we must be pretty sure we'll get him otherwise we wouldn't have done it.

Theres no evidence to suggest he wont get it, and we aren't confident of it.

It seems like he told us that he could secure an EU passport based on his time in Portugal and or Greece if we believe the press. Several sources are running with that. The mirror, BBC and sky all say that

Now we have to apply for the exceptional talent visa.

he's never been in those countries though mate to my knowledge, And martinez who is the only one who knows said this yesterday that the application was for exceptional talent and that we'd find out in 24 hours, which leads me to believe the application was done last week.

You have a right to be worried.. but if we mess up this one it's because they must be absolute idiots, since he pretty much nails the criteria

I believe he has 1 senior cap in a friendly.

think they have somekind of eating test in the hearing. Mori will have a plate full of sausage rolls, steak bakes and few other classics. he has to atleast taste everything then he might pass the test.
