Given that Kenedy got one and that the criteria shows he's entitled to one under the Exceptional Rules are we not coughing up the 5 Grand for that then?
 
It turns out he hasn't got a EU passport. How can the club expect he receives a work permit when he only has one cap to his name?

Yeah we will be. He would have failed the primary criteria because he only has 1 cap and that's a friendly. He should be okay going through the Exceptions Panel because he easily gets points from his Copa Libertadores appearances the his league appearances. Then the wages and transfer fee should get the rest, but who who knows what we're paying for him.

£5M or so which is definitely high-ish when compared to average of all PL clubs in the past two seasons. Ditto his wages, one presumes.

Stracq avoided the whole thing cos he was a loan which doesn't go through this work permit stuff.
