Just bought a black Widow slingshot and 300 Stella balls so I can take out @Gwladys St. Glory and his new gun.

(A bit of nostalgia as I had one in my yoof and used to run round bidston woods shooting stuff at my mate who had a BB gun. Great times)

We use to play manhunt, with a difference, in the woods at Otterspool Prom.

Everyone one of us was armed with an air pistol.

When you were amongst the last get caught, it got very very frightening, as getting shot, by anywhere up to 10/12 lads, was a painful experience !

How no one last an eye or got a proper injury, was just pure fluke.

BISCUITS!!!

Can't get decent biscuits here for love nor money, so we have a drug dealer here who deals in illicit goods like Cadbury chocolate, packet mixes, and biscuits.

On a winner.

Due you not have a " British Shop " that sells British stuff for the ex pats ?

I know where my sister in law lives in LA, they have a couple.

It`s pricey, but it means they can get stuff like Yorkshire Tea and Walkers crisps, Cadbury`s digestives, cans of proper ale etc, rather than the rubbish. that the Americans serve up.

There`s also a couple of British pubs there too, that sell proper ale.

Yeah, that's where I get them from. Chap goes over, buys all the stuff, and brings it over.

It's not *actually* a drug dealer, that was just poetic licence.

There are a few international shops, but few and far between. I get it delivered by courier.

When I lived in the US over a decade ago, I used to pay $40 for a tub of heroes, or celebrations, at the international shop. Quite the markup.
