RB Leipzig

RBL Matchday

It's the final day of the 21/22 Bundesliga season and the Bulls are away to pretty much relegated Bielefeld. A win for RBL will guarantee 4th spot with Freiburg currently 2 points behind but also Bielefeld have a slim chance of moving into the relegation play-off spot with a win and a favourable Stuttgart result. This is a huge game with around €40m on offer for Leipzig if they win it. Previous result, final game before Christmas, was a win for Bielefeld which actually seemed a catalyst for the brilliant second half of the season. Tedesco makes a couple of enforced changes after a couple of niggles but it's a fully fit squad now that Haidara is back from his MCL injury.

Game is LIVE from 14.30pm

What the hell is that team they are playing???

1-1 FT

Skipped the game to go have an aperol in the garden with mother. A 93rd minute equaliser makes me think it wasn't the best performance of the season... however that point coupled with Freiburg's defeat means 4th place is wrapped up and other Champions League adventure is on the cards next year. In other Buli news Hertha somehow dropped into the relegation play-off spot which makes me very happy.

Kampl signs a new deal till 2024. Halste expected to follow. Honestly not really sure on the Kampl contract as he’s massively regressed and is just another number in a rather weak central midfield area.
