Back to league action today, little surprised they weren't given a Sunday slot after playing Wednesday but we go again. Gulacsi of course is out; surgery in Leipzig next week and he may not even be seen again this season. Shopping for another backup free-agent has started (Nyland) and maybe recalling Vandervoort early from his loan. Up against Marco Rose's former team in Mainz, incredibly physical side so will be a super tough match. Looking like a 4-2-2-2 and no Kevin Kampl so rejoice!

It's the reverse fixture of last week's CL tie at home to Celtic with a win taking them further away from the Scots and maybe even into 2nd place depending on the Madrid result. Gulacsi of course out of this one and it's looking like a 4-3-3 or 4-2-2-2 but thankfully no Kampl this time! I'm not really as confident going to Glasgow for this so would take a draw now.

Werner is honestly somehow even worse than I expected him to be. Raum, signed for his crossing, somehow has forgotten how to. Need to start shooting more when around the box.
