RB Leipzig

So what are you thinking, comfortable win tomorrow night?
Pretty much a must win for Leipzig?
That lot think they've sussed it all out after getting a 0-0 against Atalanta!

Normally I’d be full of confidence but got a feeling tomorrow won’t go to plan. They’ve been awful in Europe this season, lucky in the league & just playing crap footie in general. Add in a few key injuries and Celtic have a great chance.

Plus Leipzig absolutely flapped it when they had to play at Ibrox so if Celtic Park is bouncing that’ll help.

Yeah, was at that memorable night at Ibrox!

Atmosphere definitely got to them that night and Parkhead will be the same tomorrow,Celtic rely on moving the ball quickly flooding players into midfield and penalty box, having a fast start and keeping the support up is crucial to their game plan, in European games if they get pressed and denied the space right from the start they start to unravel and the crowd get anxious.
Don't think they'll change that approach tomorrow as their support will be desperate for them to get off to a flier,Rodgers arrogance in that he thought they could go toe to toe and gung-ho with Dortmund on their own patch backfired spectacularly, so he might decide to be more cautious tomorrow(but I doubt it)
If Leipzig have learned how to deal with the atmosphere and don't allow them to get off to a flying start I'd expect them to win 2 or 3 - 1... or more preferably! Best of luck!!

Yeh I'm not as well versed with Celtic under Rodgers but I'm sure he'll go into this one the same way they did for Atalanta. It depends entirely on what Leipzig turn up. If they're in the mood it should be pretty comfortable and they have to win this for any chance of staying in this competition.

RBL Matchday

The CL returns and with it you'd have to say the last chance for Leipzig to try and stay in the competition this year after 3 defeats on the spin. The starting XI is almost as it was at the weekend but it seems Rose may have opted out of the awful hybrid back 3/5 he tried with Klostermann dropping to the bench but who knows. Still some enormous gaping holes in the team with 4 of their best players missing but hopefully all that does is prompts the club bosses to spend in January. Be interesting to see how Bitshiabu gets on against a wild crowd like it'll be in Glasgow tonight. I'd like to say I'm confident for a win but got a feeling it's going to be another abject 4th gear performance - Rose is struggling if he can't get the players in the mood soon.

Game is LIVE from 8pm on BT Sports 2

RBL Matchday

Missed the last couple of games but I am back and as are the boys looking to arrest the slump which leaves them winless in 5 games all comps. Squad is still looking particularly thin with injuries but Xaver Schlager is finally back and on the bench after his ACL - missed him massively this season. Still 3rd in the league, can go 2nd if Frankfurt lose too, but it's more about the performance now. Sadly 8 points behind Bayern now so think any hopes of capitalising on Dortmund & Leverkusen being sloppy has gone. Apparently Rose still has confidence from within the club but I'm not so convinced myself especially with the more than likely CL dumping about to occur. Hopefully the lads can pick it back up today but Wolfsburg have some good players.

Game is LIVE from 14.30pm
