Not the departure I expected after yesterday's defeat (ended 5-1) but Schroder leaves for Salzburg. Apparently Rose is still safe, somehow, which is baffling. Season is basically almost over by December.

Pub went much better than the bloody game! It's strange, everyone knows things need to change, but they're just staying silent and slow-walking to a very poor season. Players say they love working under the manager but clearly aren't showing it on the pitch. Think a new tougher manager is required that will kick them up the arse as Rose is just too chummy with them.

Back to cup action tonight, DFB-Pokal Round of 16 home tie vs in-form Frankfurt. It just has to be Rose's last chance saloon here otherwise what even are the objectives of the club anymore you'd have to wonder. Can't be binning off a whole season in December like you're an NBA team tanking for draft night. 3 changes made with Vandervoort, Vermeeren and Seiwald coming into the starting lineup. Just can't see a Leipzig win whatsoever here with the form and confidence Frankfurt are in at the moment. Even if Openda or Sesko can get one there's no stopping Marmoush this season. Cup exit on the horizon I reckon.
