Ah I thought they were doing both. Still not a bad difference. Is Basle nearer to Bern than Zurich?

About the same I think but Basel Airport is in France, the Sport Ops trip is staying in Bern so looks the better trip

Had a mate drop out of this so if anyone is flying from Newcastle on the Thursday and wants a free train ticket give me a shout the train leaves lime street at 0612 and gets there at 0914, or if anyone wants to pay the name change on the flight with easy jet then you can also have that (I think it's £40) leaves Newcastle 1050 arrives in Geneva 1355.
You're on your own after that ha

Bit late to the party as been waiting for confirmation that I can get the time off work....anyone provide the best/cheapest route they've found to get there please.
Best I can find is either Leeds-Bradford to Geneva then train to Bern or London Luton to Zurich then train.
Fancied Eurostar but timings aren't great

ours is a bit long winded but deffo cheaper manchester to eindhoven £45 return out wed afternoon car hire to bern overnight stop in germany karlsrhue £17 on wed night. Bern stay thursday £25 6 of us on this 1 hired a 7 seater works out about £30 all in just over a £1er plus spendies bargain

We did something like that for Nuremburg away, by the time the game was on my 65 year old dad was asleep through both our goal, in the ground.

Ha. Brilliant. I always seem to book a good five days of Travel whenever away in Europe. I was like that though for Krasnodar away, ended up in the Home end getting escorted across the pitch to the away end. Got a brilliant video walking on the pitch.

Yeah tell me about it, my missus aint too happy at the moment. She thinks the trips are £100 all in ha ha!
