So, pubs in Reading before the game - anybody know any?

Depends on what you're looking for. Oakford social club across the road for the station is ok, decent burgers as well. If you're looking for a real ale type place then the Ale House (great name) is about a 5 minute walk from the station. Most of central Reading is your typical soulless chain pubs.

It was advertised as being on BeIn here in Oz last week but it's been a changed to Villa v Brum. I'll watch it anyway to keep an eye
on what's happening at Reading.
I don't think it's going to be easy but we should be OK. Tbh, I don't care that much unless we get to the pointy end, and that hardly
