Apologies.

We upgraded our servers memory to improve the site for next season - it really needed doing and we knew it would cause 20/30 mins downtime.

On reboot, we were getting hammered by 'traffic', we thought was bots re-indexing the site after some downtime. This emerged to actually be a pretty significant opportunistic DDoS attack.

Please excuse any intermittent downtime today as server admins patch/upgrade various elements of the server to get us as stable as possible.

If you missed GOT while it was down, and have adblock enabled (or it is forced enabled in work an you dont have a forum upgrade...) - you know what to do

Is this why I get a white screen when I click my shortcut, with text telling me you're checking my browser, for an interminable 5 whole seconds of white non-Grand-Old-Teamness?

Should have stopped now. That was a subscription service called cloudflare that helps try an stop malicious attacks, thats one way they do it.

When I saw the thread title, I thought the subject matter within might be pertaining to a GOT member seeking advice about their being denied 'conjugal privileges'...I was going to suggest they brushed their teeth before 'hitting the hay'...

I had this issue earlier, if you type in below and post you should be able to see everything as normal
