That's a big no, no. I'm sorry Lou. I have known people that don't rinse their dishes before putting them in and the dishes never come up spotless because of it.She's terrible Sassy, she never rinses plates or pans before putting them in the dishwasher, she just puts them in with a load of food stuck to them. I'm sure she now keeps doing it because she knows it winds me up. lol

Ha, maybe you need to find something that winds her up and then come to an agreement. Otherwise a divorce threat always works too lol
I grew up in a country where dishwasher were non existent so I have never been into them. Plus it seems to me like double work and energy when one should rinse the plates before putting them there otherwise they won't come up as clean out of the machine. We have a dishwasher, its fitted into the kitchen and was there when we bought the house. Not used it once in three years.

Making guac today for the first time. I think someone said either cover the actual top with saran wrap or put lime juice on top to keep it from browning before you eat?
WTF I don't mind my missus loading me with beer. This is a tip, don't let the missus load the dishwasher.
Optional like, but a shot of tequila adds another dimension to your guacamole.Making guac today for the first time. I think someone said either cover the actual top with saran wrap or put lime juice on top to keep it from browning before you eat?
Wow, what has taken you so long I make guacamole every week, I am actually obsessed with avocados I always buy at least 15 when I visit Aldi's. I pretty much eat one almost every day.Making guac today for the first time. Seriously? I love tequila but have never tried making guacamole with it. Taking shots along with it that I have done plenty of times lolOptional like, but a shot of tequila adds another dimension to your guacamole.
Basic stuff really, cilantro, lime juice, onion, garlic, bit of cayenne etc. So no tomatoes? Just about every "recipe" I've seen calls for tomatoes in them.Wow, what has taken you so long I make guacamole every week, I am actually obsessed with avocados I always buy at least 15 when I visit Aldi's. There are several tricks with guacamole to keep it from browning, using lime juice is one but that's essential as all guacamole recipes should include lime or lemon juice. Don't add tomatoes to your guacamole, if you wish to have tomatoes then just add them before serving it. You can also put the guacamole pit inside but I think the most important trick is the plastic wrap. Oxygen gets it brown so after you make guacamole take plastic wrap and not only cover the container bit make sure the wrap is actually over the guacamole. Use your finger tips to smooch it down.
What would you be putting in your guacamole?
You can add tomatoes but usually they speed up the browning process (specially if you have any leftover for the next day) so if you want dice tomatoes just add them before serving it. If you like cumin I would suggest adding some too. Jalapeños also give it a nice touch.Basic stuff really, cilantro, lime juice, onion, garlic, bit of cayenne etc. So no tomatoes? I FORGOT THE DAMN JALAPENOS! THREE TIMES I went to the store thinking about this and forgot them ALL 3 times. Soon as I came back I saw the ingredient and did a mild scream. You can add tomatoes but usually they speed up the browning process (specially if you have any leftover for the next day) so if you want dice tomatoes just add them before serving it.
