Okay, good to know. I can definitely find that rice locally. I was also wondering what chillies do you use? I actually like spiciness on my food so I would like to give it try the way you made yours.

Just medium hot chillies with the seeds removed.

For the veggies ,yes that is you @jazzy .This is a cashew,pomegranate,haloumi and halved grape salad dressed with olive oil . The nuts and the haloumi are toasted in a frying pan( skillet for @Sassy Colombian )

I think it’s called creme anglaise in other countries. Vanilla, egg yolks, sugar, cream/milk and a little cornflour to thicken.
