I was wandering what people think which game is better. I have played them both. Cleared them. I myself have concluded I liked Read Dead better. I know it's probably just a matter of taste but the experience of the single player mode will always leave a mark it's stunningly beautiful with a very good authentic wild west vibe that has never been pulled off in a game, rich characters, beautiful Detail, music score beautiful and horses! It's long and the story really roped me in if you will excuse the pun. It has left it's mark on me.

GTA5 for me was of course a fantastic game as expected. Brave decision with the 3 protagonists that paid of. Great graphics and as usual great modern Social satire. The map was big but I gotta say I was expecting bigger. I remember San andreas had replicated Vegas and San Francisco. The story was fantastic, loved every minute as it developed but waaaaay too short, like I remember playing it and the last mission I was thinking 'this game is getting very interesting' then the credits roled up! I felt like something had been taking away from me. San andreas just went on and on and took you too amazing places. I know I'm comparing San andreas to 5 when I should be doing it with Red Dead but I'll leave you to compare in comments there is way too much information to gather up.

I have stated that GTA5 is too short but even if it was longer than Red Dead storywise I'll still go for red dead. It was everything I was expecting and so much more. Unique as Roberto would say. Very one of a kind.

Red Dead was an amazing game, everything about it was awesome.

It's hard to compare the two really, perhaps if they made next gen versions or even a Red Dead 2 with Jack as the main character it would be easier to compare.

If I had to choose I'd play Red Dead over GTA 5 any day.

GTA V, easy.

Thought Red Dead was a bit crap, but my game kept freezing on one of the middle missions so y'know. Can't really judge. Just all seemed a bit slow.

It can be a matter of taste like I said. Like I remember a friend of mine didn't clear it and I asked why he didn't like it and he said it just boring travelling around ya have no radio to listen to. But that was the very point he was missing. I think.it comes.down.to if your an outdoorsman aswell. I noticed friends who hate camping and fishing etc didn't get the game. I know that sounds peculiar but I think it's dead on. As for you I dono if the game freezing and skiping was your only problem or if it just wasn't your thing.

I've never known fear until I was just haplessly running about in the north, heard a weird noise and seen one of these big bell ends flying at me.

Cougars are the worst, the snidey little bastards. And they're in both games.

Was constantly getting ragged off my horse in Red Dead by them.

In GTA 5 I ran all the way up a mountain to do yoga as Trevor. No car or motorbike. Just pure Trevor on his minty bills up this mountain. I got half way up after about seven minutes and thought f it might as well run all the way up.

Got dead excited nearing the summit and was in touching distance of a Zen moment and got pure mauled by a cougar before I could pull a gun out and shoot it.

Boom. Spawn in some shitty redneck town hospital miles away still in my bills. Fuming.

Which one do you prefer? Am I feel like I am the only person I know that agrees that it is very short, the story.
