Red or dread?

I am thinking of changing my manual Honda Civic for an automatic. I have never owned a red car since I was almost killed when my red Ford Sierra crashed into the only house for miles (no recollection of it but I was completely sober). Over the last 25 years, because of 'them' I also refuse to wear anything with red in it.

The thing is, the Mark 8 Civic looks fantastic in red and I have seen one that I really like the look of. Do I buy it though?

Do you also have a red embargo? Do you refuse to eat tomatoes, for instance?
Almost warned you here for destroying a Sierra

No way in hell will I ever drive a red car. I rarely, if ever, wear anything red outside an England T-shirt and a Canadian Forces "Support The Troops" T-shirt. On a more serious note, red cars are, I believe, statistically more likely to require higher insurance premiums because they're targeted more for speeding, etc. Or so I was told by someone in the insurance game some years ago.

I swerve any of their sponsors stuff, as this is putting money into the devil's bank account.

NB= Check out the Current Affairs threads, loads of shmucks waving big RED flags in there.

Support the People's Club but wave The People's Flag and everything will be okay.

I wouldn't avoid owning a red car because of the RS, but because they tend to draw the eye. Might as well slap a big bumper sticker on it that says, I LIKE TO MEET COPS.

(I don't like meeting cops.)

I don't wear red or would ever own a red car. Not because I'm a sad obsessed with them lot weirdo but because I don't want to be chased by a bull. When you think about it, it's actually a really horrible colour. I don't mind terracotta but nah bin anything red. Actual I like tomatoes and tomato sauce. Didn't they do a green one a few years back? Bring that back I say.

I had a red MK2 Ford Escort 1.3S when I was 20. Haven't had a red car since. I own one red T shirt because we had a charity day in work ages ago ( can't remember what the charity was but we all had to wear red) Hate tomato ketchup, tomato soup but don't mind tomatoes. Quite fond of bright red nail varnish and red lipstick ( but only when going out out) My nails are currently royal blue.
