How long has it been since an opposition player was sent off against us?

Yeah, also not sending Gordon off at Newcastle was poor, we're not getting done by VAR and refs at all
Yeah, i dont see it as a 'they are out to get us' thing!
I just think the referee's and people running VAR are seriously poor, and decisions they make at times can be political or can be a bad move career wise!
If you are refereeing the derby and you have a chance of refereeing the man city vrs liverpool game in a few weeks time, are you going to risk the wraph of Klopp for the next 10 days by sending someone like Van Dijk off?

Really, do you listen to Shearer and Wright in the 10 seconds worth of punditry given to us on MOTD?
The thing is, you personally dont have to listen!
But others do, media types, journalists, coaches, referee's etc.
The likes of Carragher & Neville particularly have a huge say in how the games are ran or refereed, its easy to create a narrative or like the red on Saturday.......completely calm the fire

Yeah i know, 2 wrongs dont make a right

Oh I never suggested it was right, believe me. The cold hard facts are, we haven’t had an opposition player sent off against us for 77 games. You can pretend that’s normal all you want if that’s what tickles your fancy.

Anyone watching ref watch... just flicked on there... what was the verdict on mitrovic ?

You know the answer to this......it wasn't a red because apparently even though an over the top tackle on the ankle is a red, it was too close and not enough force to snap his ankle in half so it was just a very stern yellow.

Basically it was Gueyes fault for not having his ankle snapped in half as that then MIGHT have been considered a red.

Just as I thought

No it's not, but I think we let refs off, when did you last see an Everton player really get onto a ref about these things? We're too nice.
Steven Naismith was the last player who really stood up to them

but the red would be rescinded if you have a little cry in the dressing room and you 'aren't that kind of player'
