Referees v Everton

I am more angry with the Mane decision over the pen.

With the earlier "dive" I can see why the ref hasn't given it but that Mane incident was absolutely criminal.

Then again I blame that carthorse Holgate for not hitting the deck and making a meal out of it and giving the ref/VAR a decision to make as James did against WBA last season.

Our players are not clever enough in these moments.
Jota shouldn't have been on the pitch either.

It’s not only decision that go against us, very similar scenarios are happening in other games and teams arnt getting the same decisions against them as we are.
Absolutely wrong. Look at Wolves. They should have had a pen at Burnley. They should not have had Jimenez sent off against Leeds. They should not have had a penalty given against them against Man City Newcastle and Villa. That cost them at least 9 pts.

Other clubs suffer bad decisions also but we seem fully focused on the fact we are the only team getting poor decisions because we are biased.

The reality is that the teams in the top two positions get more decisions in their favor simply because they attack more.

I was there today and being totally honest me and everyone in that end did not think it was a penalty. It just didn’t seem to have enough contact in it, in person anyway.
Mate I have watched it time and again- he was clearly pushed - watch how the rs pulls his arm away after doing it. The first half incident probably was a drama incident but that was a clear penalty

The top teams get far more decisions because there is inherent big team bias in the game

The media are a part of the problem. On the rare occasion a decision does go against either side, they have a week long inquest with pundits who favour those clubs rambling on about it.

Referee would've booked him for simulation. Can't win when it comes to corrupt officiating.

Got to make the ref make a decision.

James did it last season and got Gibbs sent off.

Foreign players are taught the dark arts whilst we have too many galoots who'll happily take a stone cold stunner and stay on their feet and we wonder why the refs are happy screwing us over.

When even Carragher is saying that it’s a penalty then you know it’s a penalty! If we had received that penalty in the second half and gone 1-0 up then the whole dynamic of the game would have changed.

The Mane violence was disappointing, as was the Jota elbow on Coleman. Between Mane and Jota they committed 3 red card offences. The shove by Alexander-Arnold on the edge of the box on Gordon was so blatant too. But let’s face it: Liverpool players would have to kill someone to get sent off. Slight hyperbole maybe, but only slight! In fact we didn’t even get a free-kick over the Alexander-Arnold incident.

As Frank said: you expect this at Anfield. It’s so sad that we’ve become inured to officials overtly favouring Liverpool, but it is what it is.
