I thought Dembele at Fulham (Moussa not Mousa) showed promise when he played against us. Would be a good one for the future maybe.
I would have said get Ruddy back for cover for Howard and to be a possible successor, but Ideally I'd want that to be Begovic.
Cardiff have no-one who'd improve our squad IMO.
 
Caulker, Redmond, Mutch. All 22 or under and British. Worth a look if the price is right. They will probably cost more than what they are worth to our squad.

Caulker (I'd pay 4m. Is he that much better than Duffy?)
Redmond (I'd pay 2m. Much rather get Gerard back as our young, raw wing option.)
Mutch (I'd pay 3m. Colback is free.)
 
Players from relegated teams can be a steal, look how well we've done getting the likes of McCarthy off Wigan and Kone and Robles may yet still come good.

I'd like Redmond and Caulker, both good players who we could use in Europe. Someone else will snap up John Ruddy surely? Very good goalie, just in a gash team.

While normally I would agree, I've taken into consideration the system we play now. Think he'd do quite alright, again, as cover and occasional starter. He just signed with them, though, so it'd probably be a non-started unless he's got a get-out clause.

i saw him at swansea mate, was very comfortable on the ball, very similar to stones here this season tbh. he's more dominating in the air as well in both boxes which is what we need. maybe he's not quite good enough for us, but i think he has very good potential tbh.

I wouldn't put too much expectation onto Duffy's shoulders. From what I've seen from him this season at Yeovil the Championship seems very much his level.
Caulker is a good CB worthy of most teams, and I'd take him. However his fee would be MUCH higher than £4m and he wouldn't be first choice for us, more of a back-up. I think he'd want to go somewhere to be in the first team.
 

Norwich - Ruddy. I've seen the under 18's play this season Cameron King looks handy and a mention for Harrison Heath (Adrians son).
Fulham - Dan Burn.
Cardiff - Solksjaer upfront for he's European experience!
 
tbh would only take Fer as back up to McCarthy and Barry and Caulker to possibly be our long term partner to Stones but wouldn't pay over £6 mil for either with both being relegated
