Relegated Players You'd Want

Definitely Redmond as a few have mentioned. We need options and pace in wide areas given the system we play and he would be ideal. Martinez has shown this year he can get the best out of players. Redmond is English, young and quick with decent ability. Definitely worth a move as back up

Daehli also plays out wide, pretty fast as well, would probably be cheaper than an English kid, already got a cap for Norway as well

Not quite a relegated team this year, but if Wigan don't go up-and I know I'll get shot down for this- I would snap up Shaun Maloney, a very tidy ball player who has hit the best form of his career in the last couple of years, Martinez likes him and his playing style would be ideally suited to the demands of European football next year. I'm only suggesting as a SQUAD addition, no more.

Jelavic, Anichebe, Heitinga.

Redmond is a top player who just needs the right club.

Kasami is a talented youngster who could well reach the same levels that we need.

Leroy Fer for a laugh.

I think that is it. To be honest i'd rather cherry pick their best young talent and add it to a improving squad then sign any of their older players who may or may not be good enough.

Really wanted Redmond in the summer but he's been proper gash for Norwich. Whether that's him or the team he was playing in remains to be seen but I think you would see a massive difference going from del to Redmond!

Marshall definately!!

Don't know if he counts being a loan player but still think holtby would be a great addition to the squad.

As mentioned before, if Deulofeu doesn't come back then Redmond could do a very similar job.

Other than him, nothing taking my fancy too much.

Marshall, Caulker and Redmond would improve our squad no end.

These are the type of players we should be looking at (on british soil) considering the budget we have compared to others. Bargain basement is what we do. Saying that those said players wouldn't come that cheap.

0 and yes, none of them will improve our starting eleven.

I would not waste money on squad players from these teams because they are going to demand big money for their relegated players.

Nevertheless, I will take the following if they are available for a fair fee or on a free.

Norwich - Ruddy (as our 2nd choice keeper; that rules him out because he won't just sit on the bench will he).

Fulham - None...oh wait maybe Stekelenburg as our 2nd choice keeper but I guess his wages must be massive so that rules him out too. He can't even get a game at Fulham which means he is a bit crap perhaps.

Cardiff - I will take Caulker as our 4th choice CB.

And I have to mentioned Redmond. He is like the new Routledge or Eagles. An urban myth.

I am just pleased we have a manager in place who will probably not even consider players unless he thinks they fit his methods and style of play 100%
