Well that’s a pretty perfect set of results there. I’d rather leeds beat forest so don’t mind that one.

Soton. Forest. Bournemouth. Think those are the three to target …then leeds, Leicester, wolves as contingencies for us to finish ahead of.
Yes, I think we have to be realistic. We would expect to finish above Southampton and Bournemouth. Newly-promoted Forest with all their new signings were always vulnerable. The likes of Leeds, Leicester, Wolves, and West Ham have too many resources for us to genuinely expect to finish above. That's not to say we can't or won't finish above some or even all of them, it's just to accept that the three most likely to go are now all behind us. Leicester are slumping at just the wrong time...

Great night for us hopefully Southampton Forest and Bournemouth get cut adrift as soon as possible and lose to who ever they are playing. Leicester will stay up I feel so will West ham and Leeds.

Leeds back in the champions league spots
And Leicester have still way too much quality I see !
The thing with Leicester is I’ve seen the exact same thing said about us where we as fans could see the trouble that we were in.

In December, 100% there are teams clearly too good to go down, in April with 9 games left though if you’re on 25 points you’re down in the relegation spots based on merit.

Look at it this way in a traditional season of “40 points for safety” in no world no matter who is in charge is this Leicester side winning 5 of 9 games.

No one has a divine right to be anywhere if they’re down in this mess after the games that have been played. Fortunately we have a manager who has absolutely no time for that sort of grandstanding and just sets his team to scrap for every minute of every game for every point.

Cooper is a very good manager, you’re right. I’m just not sure he’ll be their manager much longer. That owner is nuts.
Changing manager at this time is not only pointless but also expensive. Unlikely to be sacked I think...if they were to sack him, not sure what good manager out there would want the job.

What do we want from Leicester v Bournemouth then Saturday?

If Leicester lose that then they'd be on 25 points with 30 played and away at City next game. They'd be cut adrift and looking doomed.
Draw is the best result for us, even with us losing Forest will also probably lose so we won’t drop into the bottom 3.

It effects me as a fan when we spend the week in the relegation zone so I can only imagine it effects the players as well, even if we’re just out of it based on goal difference then that’s good enough for me.

Said this before leeds still have 4 tough games they aint safe at all was a good night for us. Hopefully more of the same on sat then push for the win against fulham

Yeah, weirdly it’s now become one where Bournemouth winning might be best. Bournemouth could win and still go down, but like you say a Leicester defeat would be disastrous for them. As always, take a draw.

The only thing that worries me is that they’ve pulled out some mad results this season. I think Cooper is a very good manager and can maybe get a miracle out of them then again they could also be absolutely dead in just 2 or 3 games time.
That was a very long time ago now though mate.

They've taken 3 points from the last 24.

At the beginning of February it all looked under control for them, but they've run out of steam and they have a lot out injured.

They're going down IMO.
