January will be the decider. A lot of teams down the bottom will be desperately spending cash. We need to make sure we have money to spend on good attacking options as a few teams will be doing the same.

The standards are low because we have a dreadful team which has been years in the making my red fellow

Fellow?.

a person in the same position, involved in the same activity.

Seems like you just outed yourself as a kopite. See we both can do these stupid kopite reference. Why don't you grow up and stop calling people kopites because they offer a different opinion .
15th is never acceptable but then I have standards, you don't

Last season your club’s legend nearly destroyed this club, Lampard just about kept us alive, we’ve slowly looked more like a team but we are in no way a team that’s going from bottom 4 to top 6 in one year, anyone who believes otherwise is deluded

Other clubs kept us alive with their inability to capitalise on our failings. We should have been well gone. Lanpard is more interested in his self importance

Well 10 games is usually a decent barometer given you'll have played over half the league home and away so usually know what season is going to occur.

14th feels right and was in line with my pre season prediction.

Hopefully Calvert Lewin can get some starts and then the attack can be properly judged.

Reality is for all the plaudits team is going along at a point a game and it's a fair bit the Arsenal match would've been a defeat so it could easily have been 10 points from 11 games.

Got to be careful as I don't think you'll be staying up on 35 points this season so point a game could be the bare minimum.

Don't expect much at Newcastle but this spell of Palace-Fulham-Leicester-Bournemouth is really critical. Need 7 points from that at least I'd say to have a good buffer over bottom 3 going into world cup break.

….10 games. Where you are is the section of the table you tend to end up in.

Someone mentioned a few weeks ago having a slow start in Martinez first season when drawing the first 3.

Had 19 points after first 10 that season.

More comparable is 14/15, didn't realise how low the team were in the table going into March 2015 but decent final two months secured comfortable mid table finish.
