Bournemouth worryingly putting a good run together. West Ham, Southampton and Leeds are in their next 4 games so they'll see themselves having a great chance of staying up.

Next Saturday is just a must win for us. We don't want teams above us to start building a gap.

The bottom line is, we always had the best run in from 8 games on. We are outside of the relegation zone going into that. Every other team has harder fixtures, and are almost all in worse form.

We have to do our bit, starting with a win v Fulham. But realistically, it couldn't have gone much better for us post Dyche coming in.
Leicester have the easiest run in of all

Let's put it this way.

If it's a toss-up between nine times champions Everton and little Bournemouth, referees and officials - being human - are likely to be swayed by tradition all other things being equal.

If it's between nine times champions Everton and 2016 Premier League champions Leicester, then that psychological advantage is rather diminished.

And we play Bournemouth at home on the last day. We need to go to Leicester...
Yeah but Bournemouth started the day level on points with us. Leicester didn’t if we can beat Fulham at home and they pay City we open up a 5 point gap.

They only need a few wins - like 2 - to turn it around for them. A new manager bounce invariably happens regardless of who it actually is

Leicesters run in is also pretty easy including playing us home

A bit like the new manager bounce today? Or for Nathan Jones?
Lets see if they win at City, that will then be 2-3 games to establish a new manager bounce. I suspect if they won't, it won't be coming.

Today's result was to be expected, but Forest losing was critical. Barring a disaster by City, we have come through with relatively little damage and a chance to put some distance between ourselves and Leicester next weekend. West Ham and Wolves will, in all likelihood, muddle clear now, though they are not clear by any means yet.

A win next weekend is, needless to say, essential.
