…..we’ve had results go for us recently, today they went against us. I suspect there’ll be plenty more highs and lows.

I have no idea how this will end up.

The very good weeks we've had with opponents getting beat pays dividends on a day like today where two get unexpected wins.

I think Bournemouth after today will be safe. Can see two wins at least in their remaining fixtures, thus likely eliminating the current bottom 3 from catching them.

The positive is if Leicester continue to struggle and given Forests run of fixtures it is conceivable we could cut them adrift by beating them on May 1st

They may do mate, I seem to remember their fixtures turn. But I'm just not sure they get any less points than this pitiful Leicester team.

It makes a huge difference, win against Fulham, in games where Forest and Leicester almost certainly lose, and it looks very different.

We’re in a straight shoot out with Forest Leicester and Saints. We just need to get more points over 8 games than they do.

If we can increase the gap next week then it becomes 7 games and they’re playing catch up.

The picture is starting to clarify: still no one is safe because there's no consistent teams down there, but there's now a group of 5 teams who are in much more trouble than the rest. We are one of the 5 for sure, but I'd still say the least likely of the 5 to go. We just need to do our job and be on the right side of the split when 5 reduces further.

They were both games Wolves and West Ham had to win, to keep distance. A bit like us next week v Fulham. But they're not completely out of it if they lose a game or 2.
