We’re in a straight shoot out with Forest Leicester and Saints. We just need to get more points over 8 games than they do.

If we can increase the gap next week then it becomes 7 games and they’re playing catch up.

Well partially, but if we win next week, we are in amongst that group above. Next week is basically critical.

They were both games Wolves and West Ham had to win, to keep distance. A bit like us next week v Fulham. But they're not completely out of it if they lose a game or 2.

We're within reach of them yes.

Bournemouth have had this horrible knack of picking up big wins this season where its not necessarily been expected. Something we've lacked.

This. And Leeds. And West Ham. And Wolves.

Dont but at the same time is not over was rubbish today but you cant juat sty fixed on the result was same with spurs. Great see the goal but after the game you look to the next fixture. Nothing wrong trying to be positive

Think if you would of said 3 weeks ago, we had games against Chelsea, spurs and Man U. The teams around us had Easier fixtures and there games hand and we still be out the relegation zone after all of it then would of said yes please.

This exactly. We’ve just got through what is on paper the hardest part of our remaining schedule, and the teams around us played their games in hand, and we’re essentially no worse off. I’ll take that in a heartbeat.

And look at next week: Leicester at City and Forest vs United. If we beat Fulham, we could start to see the bottom three slipping away from the rest. Especially if we could follow that up with a result at Palace. Two big, big opportunities for us coming up.

Season's crazy, I think 36 points might be the magic number to stay up this year, maybe a bit less or maybe a bit more 37-38.

Fulham and Bournemouth we win, and I do fancy us v 1 of Newcastle/City at Goodison, where we are strong, That 7-9 points is probably enough. I don't see us losing at Wolves, Palace or Leicester either given our form.
