Let’s not forget the boards role in this diarrhoea of a season, no striker in the summer we wasted 5 games playing with Anthony Gordon up front , banked everything on Dcl being fit when the lad has been unavailable consistently last 18 months, then failed to sack the hapless lampard after two hammerings at Bournemouth in 3 days, they waited till the very last day of the transfer window to get dyche in because they had no intention of providing any funds for any sort of striker, this allowed the terrible lampard to burn up 4-5 winnable games.this is all before the headlock lies that tried to paint evertonians as bad guys, has 1 board ever done so much to get its own team relegated, and still they hang on because nowhere else do they get financially recompensed for this much incompetence .

Forest and Southampton look toast to me. With Leicester it simply depends on whether they get a new manager bounce for a few games or not. If we don't beat Fulham then it's definitely going right to the wire.
if we dont beat Fulham it shows we arent responding when our backs are against the wall, and something drastic might have to happen to reverse the situation.

Can't see us winning any away. But draws prevent 3 points for our rivals. Nightmare this
The six-pointers are wonderful opportunities to bury our rivals. What more do people want?

If we cannot take five points from Palace, Wolves, and Leicester, we can have no complaints. We have to earn our right to survive. All this gnashing of teeth and wailing over tough matches is a joke. Our matches are not tough at all - they are standard difficulty for a poor side like us. Will we get five points from those games? Who knows? But if we lose two or three of them, well, we will have no choice but to accept that our players are Championship level.

I think we can, at a bare minimum, take four points from those games. The key will be to ensure that we do not lose to Leicester. A win then at either Palace or Wolves would keep us afloat. Of course, the preference is to win the three points at Leicester and draw one of the other two. But this cannot be beyond us if we deserve to stay up.

Going for the new manager bounce. Let's hope it fails. In 4 games time the whole bottom will look a lot different let's just hope it's in our favour. Although scoring is an issue chances created since Dyche took over is encouraging. We can predict all we want but we just got to let it play out
The Fulham game is a bellwether match. If we win, we have every chance of staying up and getting out of the mire prior to the last day.

If we draw, expect it to go to the last day if we are to survive.

If we lose, it'll be all on the visit to Leicester on May Day. At best.

Fulham, Newcastle, City and Bournmouth, i can only see 7 points there, we need 10 min i reckon, thing is three of our away games could be six pointers, Leicester, Wolves and Palace, we need to win one
Seven will be fine - assuming three of those points come at the expense of Bournemouth. We may then need a couple more, possibly three, from visits to Palace, Wolves, Brighton and Leicester. Very doable. And, honestly, if we can't achieve that then we get what we deserve.

You really are frightened of the Premier League, aren't you. Time to accept Championship, so. Your bleating is embarrassing.
I'm looking at our present form as a rational basis for extrapolating our immediete results going forward. Nothing to do with fear or otherwise, just cold blooded calculations.

You are the happy clapper who thinks despite only winning one away game all season, we are suddenly going unbeaten in all 3 away of Palace, Wolves and Leicester.

In a nutshell, we have 8 matches to get 10 points plus.

You can over-analyse where these points will come from, but six points at home and four away looks achievable. The thing is, if we get wins against Wolves, Leicester, and Bournemouth, we'll almost certainly stay up as we damage direct rivals, possibly fatally.

I suspect we'll lose points that we expected to win and gain points we expected to lose before all of this plays out. A win next weekend sets us up to survive - cleanly. Anything less and we need to accept that it will probably go to the last day. At best.

There's nothing rational about your posts. They drip in manic depressive bitterness and are riddled with agenda.

Going unbeaten in three away games does not require a side to win on the road, so your irrelevant point about winning once away all season is utterly beside the point.

Next four games are key.

Beat Fulham and Barcodes and at least draw those two away games could quite prossibly see us safe.

Brighton away and City home I expect nowt.

Then the last two, critical games v Wolves and Bournemouth for another possible four points.

I think we will stay up as I think the 18th placed team will have no more than 35 points.

you said 5 points, from the 3, at least one would have to be a win in that case.

I said we should be well capable of it if we think we deserve to stay up. Or else we need to quit our bleating. Unlike you, I can accept if we are not good enough to stay up. I certainly won't be on here crying bitter, agenda-riddled, tears.

We do not need to win a single away game to stay up if we take six or seven points at home. So, your waffle about away wins is spurious.

If you can't take the relegation heat, tranquilizers are available.
