Palace are much better with space to run into. Some kamikaze defending from Leeds when losing and they got exposed big time.

A low block at Selhurst and it will be a very tight game and that's what Dyche will do.

Would still rather play them without Zaha despite what they did today although Eze and Olise coming into form isn't great news, both were excellent in the cup tie down there last season IIRC.

It's a tricky match where you'd probably take a point but I don't think it's impossible to win. Palace will hopefully turn up at Southampton and basically relegate them and them on 33 points means they can relax and play out some draws and one more win.

Only issue for me is they feel like decent opponents on a final day and they've got Forest then.

Still not seeing where the confidence is coming from on this thread. Maybe people think we’ve been down this well trodden path before and managed to escape so why would this time be any different?

But I’ve seen limited improvement from Dyche over Lampard in terms of being able to actually win games - and draws won’t cut it now. the utd performance is a fair reflection for me of where we are as a team.

For me Palace massively overrated, great result today but they’re bang average. Eze is a decent Player nothing more. Olise has talent but like Gordon for us, he’s inconsistent which is normal for a 21yr old. 4 goals in 55 prem games is not a great return

Yeah limited improvement when we didnt even have shots under lamapard. Has already won same amount of games in less time. One game is not a fair reaction at all you take in every game and i think he has done good so far. I am not fully sold on that we will stay up but i am not as negative as you, dont think i have seen you say anything positive tbh.

This is the reason why Leeds fans should be shi**ing themselves. You’re absolutely correct palace are pretty average and run riot against them

That is harsh, Dyche has definitely managed to improve performances but we recognise that he is working with a very limited group of players that, if they were relegated, could have no complaints.

They haven’t been a group of players underperforming for 2 years under several managers. This is their level. And it will be again next season without wholesale changes.

Dyche has definitely done well to motivate and organise them to get the results he has so far. He deserves credit but there is a long way to go. The Fulham game is a big test.

Limited improvement in terms of winning games - 1 win in the last 7 is about Lampard level not sure what shot numbers have got to do with it ?

I am far from confident, but at least have some hope now whereas when Lampard was in charge I thought we were done for. I think we’ve quickly forgotten just how abject the performances were against Bournemouth and West Ham away and Southampton, Wolves and Brighton at home. Yesterday was poor, but stands out as notable when compared with recent matches. I have more faith in Dyche to learn from yesterday and make the necessary tweaks than Lampard showed.
