I dont look at it that way entirely, tbh.

Fulham are a very good team and I dont see us as automatic favourites. We'll have to work just as hard to get any points from that as we'll have to work to get points away to Palace, Wolves and Leicester.

If we beat them it'll be a big deal.
Oh it will be a massive deal. Fulham are a better team then us, and there is no way we are going into this as favourites.
But we have just come off a truly awful performance last week, and we now have a home game. 1 of only a few left.

So this game has to be looked at with an Expectance view, by both Fans and Especially Players.
We lose this, we don't just lose the 3pts on offer, we lose another game off the shrinking list that's remaining. And a home game aswell..

We've quite silently excepted last Wk as a blip ( which is a miracle in itself )
but we did literally get 'schooled' at football, which we have to get over quickly.

We get beaten on our turf, after last wk. then we will have hit a slump.
We will then have 7 games remaining, 4 of which are away and Newcastle, City and Bournemouth left at Home.

That is why this is our 'Season definer' !!

3pts - last wk forgotten
0pts - We've hit a slump, Heads drop ( on and off the field )

( The way I initially used the word 'Expectance' might have been the wrong word to chose, but the meaning in my point was how I feel/see it )

Tho Players Should Expect To Win Every Time They Enter The Field !!

We need something from it, yes. Preferably all 3 points but if we have to get a point and move on then that keeps us in it.

Basically for me its this: 36 points will be enough given the likely direction of travel of teams in the bottom three, so we need 9 points from somewhere - no matter where - whether it's 3 wins or a couple of wins and three draws.

Beating Fulham simplifies things though. Get that and we can definitely plan for another 2 wins and maybe more. It's crucial we hit that 30 point mark ASAP.

BTW, I thought at the time we'd miss Doucoure when he was suspended and we did against United, and I think we'll continue to do so. We cant get him back in quick enough....and we need Coleman to shrug off his knock in time.

Coleman's old school, he'll be out there putting Braveheart to shame...
Dyche just needs to have the courage to start Garner!!
