I think realistically that's that. And I was at the Wimbledon game when we were literally one kick away from relegation.

Our top-flight status is gone and I don't suppose we'll be back in the next 50 years.

And where we we find investors for the stadium whilst in the lower leagues I just don't know.

This squad wouldn't fare well in the championship, but we'll have to sell the 'good' players as soon as we go down. So we could soon be playing Duncan's new team.

This has been very poor but we need a little perspective: the teams that are down there are down there because they lose a lot of games. Today we lost a game that could've really helped us pull away a bit, but we still have the ability to win games we don't expect to.

We're not down. It's probably 50/50 now.

As a kid I would have been livid at our situation. I'd have been clinging to the ceiling with my fingernails frothing at the gums. But I (genuinely) do not care about the possibility of relegation. Maybe it's because I'm older and my interest in footy -- including the Euros and World Cup -- has been on the wane since 2015. Or maybe it's because I've watched too many Adam Curtis documentaries and I've just zoned out of caring about trivial things.

There’s no positive spin here. We should be odds on to go down now. Today was a massive result either way. The manner of this has been awful.
