Everton will be the cock of the walk in The Championship. We’ll be the biggest club to play in that league for decades and we’d be the biggest club most Champ-level players would ever have a chance to play for.

Sign up the crème de la champ, assemble a squad who see Everton as their ticket to play in the Premier League. Get them on cheap deals because of the ‘draw’ of the name.

Absolutely decimate our first opponent in the Champo and get the good vibes going for a swift return to the Prem. Then go on to have a mediocre season, briefly flirt with relegation to league one before finishing lower midtable.

UTFT!

We won't be able to afford good championship players due to our finances.

We'll have to sell £100mill of players and only be able to spend a fraction of it.

Really thought after surviving last season we would regroup and have some form of Europe by the new stadium opening but I’m fearing the worst now.

Still think we will be ok but we need to see some serious investment in the summer to stop this happening again next season.

Certainly a good night to tell yourself it’s just football, supposed to be entertainment and there are far more important things in life if we go down purely due to form, not some weird injustice. But bloody hell.

There are still 6 teams involved with avoiding relegation.
Forest,Leicester, Wham, Southampton, Leeds and us.
The only one that look down is Southampton. I think Forest will join them.I think we are the worst of the rest but I havent given up hope.
As gut wrenchingly bad as it would be I would take it all to depend us having to beat Bournemouth last day to stay up.

….purposely, I rarely post on here these past months. I fear for our club because it’s rotten and it’s sick. When a football club has been manifestly mismanaged it inevitably manifests itself on the pitch.

That’s what’s happened. Don’t blame the players, don’t blame the Manager & coaches but most of all don’t blame yourselves.

Folk on here post their evaluation of how Forest will do & how Leeds and Leicester are falling apart but Everton‘s problem is with its administration and ultimately that will catch up with us.

Whats so annoying is we could have had a 5 point gap over leicester.
But im past getting angry now. And getting to the point of thinking we deserve everything. We've filled this squad with relegation level players so how can anyone expect anything else.

Agreed. But todays Bournmouth annihilate todays Everton.

Do you really see us beating Bournemouth?
