Bournemouth is the real pisser thus far this weekend

If Forest and Leeds lose today and tomorrow respectively, then it could have been worse

We still need to pick up points ourselves of course, which is looking increasingly less likely, but that’s Everton for you 🤷‍♂️
Do you really expect the RS to do us a favour tomorrow....?

I can see your logic but it's a tremendous risk. It's almost as if you believe we can simply pop back up again with a few youngsters steering the revitalised ship. Can't you see we will be scalps for every team wanting to make a headline? Do you really think any of our players have the backbone for that? I believe we should be trying to avoid the drop at all costs.

Well, yeah. No one actively wants to go down.

But I wasn't thinking about it beyond: So what if we stay up? We'll just be doing this all again next year with a horrific set of accounts, an underwhelming squad of players, an egotistical and clueless board, an owner with even more ego and less of a clue. And, at 28 years old, it's always been like this, to varying degrees.

It's exhausting and I'm not sure what it's for. We could stay up and I guess I'd be relieved, but there's no light at the end of the tunnel at the moment. It just feels like we're delaying the inevitable.

And I'm fully aware this is not a great attitude to have, but I'm struggling to muster much optimism and I've no idea where within this club I'm supposed to source it from.

Anyone other than Lampard get's the sack after conceding 7 against Bournmouth in 1 week, only reason people liked him is cos he spoke well. Anyone thinking he was a good manager needs their head testing.
Has anyone said otherwise on his managerial credentials ?

The man got credit in the bank cos he replaced a Terminal disease that infested the club worse then what it already was.

The fans were also fed up with the Manager 'merry go round' going on at there club.
If we hadn't got that palace win this season he would of been gone sooner.

This is where this whole aspect of our shockingly run club comes even more to light !
The fact that we as the fanbase are squabbling about 'who backed who' as manager and that's why we're in this mess.

No decision was made by us they were made by the club.
And neither of those managers matter now, what matters is the next 7 games....
