It's very possible United underperform today at Forest, but, you know, we played them last week and passed up the chance to even compete, so I can't stomach the woe-is-me stuff that is likely to ensue.

Teams around us are beginning to grind out surprising results. Until we do that, we're basically snookered.

Correct. It was “Mosh Man” who kept Lampard in post after Bournemouth week, but that doesn’t fit the narrative and something something new stadium with vibrating seats that we can’t afford.

Benitez left us in 16th 4 points above the drop zone with a gift wrapped Richarlison.

Lampard left us in the bottom 3 places with Maupay.

Not saying Benitez didnt deserve the sack but we were never in any real danger of going down that year considering there were 3 poor sides in Norwich, Watford & Burnley.

Lampard has done a number on us yet still some wish him well :Blink:

If somehow, by some minor miracle, we survive this season we'll just be in the exact same position in the next anyway. It almost feels pointless..

The fact that we are in this situation as a football club in the first place is so gross in it's negligence that it's just utterly, utterly astounding to me. It's like a bad joke lol

Total contrast to last season when i was a wreck about relegation. This time i just think we are so bad at everything we are almost deserving of it. January killed me when the club sat on its arse. And i have to watch players like alex iwobi attempting to keep this club up. I'll take staying up but they are no longer worthy of me stressing out over them.
 
Gallows humour perhaps but just a bit funny that United's starting centre back partnership today is even worse than ours
